Two Polish festivals, American Film Festival in Wrocław and Cinemaforum - International Short Film Forum in Warsaw, announce second year of collaboration and open a joint call for American shorts. Selected films will be screened in American Shorts section of both festivals in November 2021.

There is a vast variety of short films created in the United States every year. That is why in 2020 both festivals decided to present the original selection of the best among them during a special joint section – American Shorts at both events.

Organized by the Filmforum Association, Cinemaforum has been running for 19 years and is one of the oldest and most established Polish festivals devoted to short film. Every year it presents a wide variety of the best short films from all over the world and hosts many Polish and international guests from different branches of audiovisual industry. At the American Film Festival we are happy to continue the partnership with Cinemaforum in 2021.

We are very glad to announce a call for entries for the program – to be presented during both festivals: in Warsaw and in Wroclaw in November 2021.

Please send your short (running time up to 40 minutes) through the following online form by August 1, 2021.
