Immersja Film Club (DKF): Oh, Canada | 4:00 pm

Is this Paul Schrader’s last film? It’s certainly his most personal. The biographical story of the famous documentary filmmaker Leonard Fife serves as a lens through which Schrader looks at his past achievements. In collaboration with the Immersja website team, we invite you to a DKF discussion following today’s screening of Oh, Canada! (4:00 pm), where we’ll explore not only this film but also the director’s rich and diverse body of work. The discussion will be held in Polish. The meeting will be held in Polish.

Reading America: Piotr Tarczyński and a conversation on the QAnon Movement | 7:30 pm

It’s all one big conspiracy – or so believe the followers of QAnon, a movement that has spun increasingly incredible tales about the darker sides of American politics. How did it begin? And why do conspiracy theories – even the most far-fetched – resonate so powerfully in the modern U.S.? Join us for a discussion with Piotr Tarczyński, writer, translator, and co-creator of Podkast amerykański. Our starting point will be Will Sommer’s book, Uwierz w plan. Get Your Man: screening with live music | 8:00 pm

Dorothy Arzner’s humor and bold storytelling, along with her ironic yet affectionate view of her characters, make Get Your Man a timeless classic. Adding to the charm, the nostalgic yet modern musical talents of Zuzanna Wrońska and Maja Laura will draw out the contemporary emotions, attitudes, and dilemmas in this film from nearly a century ago. Join us for a unique cinematic and musical experience at New Horizons Cinema!

Festival karaoke | Festival Club | Texico, Pasaż Pokoyhof | 11:00 pm

From festival lovers, for festival lovers. Hosted by Adaś – known as admin1 of Godardowskie Igraszki fanpge and Karo, a longtime volunteer who may have handed you a pass at the festival center. What unites them is their shared festival experience, passion for cinema, and, above all, a love of dancing till dawn. Pick your favorite songs, bring your friends, and join the fun. Let’s sing our hearts out together! Participation is free.
