American Shorts – in cooperation with the CINEMAFORUM festival

104’
Arrow Board Game

An immigrant mother in Some Still Search, girls on the Mexican-American border in Burros, a security guard reviewing prisoners' correspondence in The Letter Room - all experience personal dilemmas, and all are part of a broader American story. In this section's shorts, filmmakers seek intimate stories with splinters of phenomena that determine the shape of the contemporary United States and the entire world. Or, they just want to know what the effects of a marijuana overdose might be.
