Maria

Pablo Larraín, Italy, Germany, Chile 2024, 124’
Heretic Nightbitch

Maria Callas hides her changing face from the world. She also hides her voice, as it often betrays her. Pablo Larraín (Jackie, Spencer) once again portrays the loneliness that comes with fame. In her most mesmerizing role in years, Angelina Jolie converses with ghosts, revisiting memories from a life beyond the official biographies.
