Roost

Quantum Cowboys Rounding

An adolescent daughter and a phone – such a combination can herald serious trouble. Seventeen-year-old Anna (Grace Van Dien, Chrissy from Stranger Things) meets a boy online and slowly goes head over heels for him. The growing conflict between mother and daughter is just one element of this addictive puzzle.

Redford, daughter of Robert, plays delightfully in Roost not just with genre, but with the traces of family legacy. One moment we think we know where these characters are going; the next, all we know for sure is that the intricacies of family often lie just out of reach.
