Erica Tremblay, an American screenwriter and director from the Seneca-Cayuga tribe, grew up in Missouri, then moved to Nebraska. Erica's films often deal with ethnicity and sexuality, especially that of young people. Co-funded by the Cherokee Film Fund, Fancy Dance, her feature debut, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, just like her short, Little Chief.
