The protagonists of this film are women living with younger men. They love their bodies, sports, fashion, art, and social gatherings. The camera watches them as they gossip about sex lives with humor and satisfaction. They include Camille Billops, in distinctive makeup, along with her adult daughter Christa.

Camille Billops, James Hatch

A New York filmmaking duo; she – a ceramic artist, sculptor, painter, and he – a historian of African American theatre, documentary filmmaker and creator of an extensive archive of African American art. Their films focus on the personal and social problems of black women and men from the Camille Billops family circle and the artistic community that coalesced in the couple's New York apartment. Their Finding Christa received the Grand Jury Prize at the 1992 Sundance Festival.
