LaRoy
Ray decides to commit suicide when he finds out his wife is cheating on him. He's about to pull the trigger when a stranger pushes an envelope stuffed with dough and an address in his hand taking him for a hitman. Wanting to prove himself, Ray takes the job.

Shane Atkinson
Shane Atkinson was born in Northern California and settled in Los Angeles. He holds a degree in Directing and Screenwriting from Columbia University in New York. His screenplay for Penny Dreadful, ultimately filmed as a short, made the 2012 Black List, i.e. a list of the most interesting unproduced scripts. Atkinson wrote Poms (2019), a comedy starring Zara Hayes and Diane Keaton. LaRoy is his feature-length debut and the winner of the Polish Film Institute's Director's Award, awarded as part of the US in Progress project.
