Lucy Kerr

Born in 1990 in Houston, Texas, Lucy Kerr is a filmmaker, artist, choreographer, and educator. She received her M.A. in Visual and Performative Arts from the California Institute of the Arts. „Filmmaker Magazine” named Kerr one of the 25 New Faces of Independent Film. Family Portrait is her full-length debut, which premiered at the Locarno Festival in 2023, and was also awarded with a special prize as part of US in Progress.
