Todd Field

Todd Field started his Hollywood career as an actor and has starred in over 35 film and series. In 2001, however, he took up directing and screenwriting instead. Field quickly became known as the "actor’s director," as his films In the Bedroom and Little Children received eight Oscar nominations, including for all acting roles. It is said that Field brings out the best in his stars, which is why his actors shine on the screen. The best evidence is Cate Blanchett's role in Tár.
