Her Smell

Alex Ross Perry, USA 2018, 136’
Golden Exits Paul Schrader: Man in a Room

Unpredictable, filthy, angry – this is Elisabeth Moss in the film by AFF favorite, Alex Ross Perry. As Becky Something, she fronts a popular punk band at the crossroads of a glittering crisis.

‘Her Smell’ Elisabeth Moss gives a go-for-broke performance in Alex Ross Perry's indie-rock psychodrama, but the film is at once absorbing and indulgent. (Variety)
