Heretic

Scott Beck, Bryan Woods, USA 2024, 110’
Conclave Maria

This religious horror film raises deep questions about the meaning of faith and the role of religion in modern times. As they spread the Word, sisters Barnes and Paxton find themselves at the wrong house—Mr. Reed's (Hugh Grant) cozy, berry-cake-scented home. There, they must fight not only for survival but also for salvation and the promise of eternal life.
