Lorcan Finnegan

Born in 1979 in Dublin, Lorcan Finnegan is a director and screenwriter whose imaginative storytelling has garnered international acclaim. His debut,  Foxes, made waves at SXSW and the Tribeca Festival, while his second full-length feature, the sci-fi drama  Vivarium, starring Jesse Eisenberg and Imogen Poots, cemented his reputation. Finnegan returns with  The Surfer, which had a midnight screening in Cannes. It stars Nicolas Cage and Julian McMahon; the film received a six-minute standing ovation at its premiere. Finnegan is also the co-founder of Lovely Productions.
