Relaxer The Eyeslicer (episodes 8, 10)

Stop-motion animation, the sort of special effects one might see in a school project, a boy who asks others to guess what he has in his bag and non-stop absurdity-every episode of theseries The Eyeslicer offers something completely different. Producers Dan Schoenbrun and Vanessa McDonnell decided to ask directors just starting their careers to work with them, including horror-lover Brian Lonano and actress Celia Rowlson-Hall, known from the film Ma. What comes through in their very different episodes is their love of independent cinema and a politically incorrect sense of humor that fans of midnight movies will be sure to appreciate. The episodes that will be screened during the festival are full of surprises: Anton Yelchin, who died tragically, takes advantage of the sexual preferences of a girl he's seeing; a group of people recreate the Vietnam War; an actress who is ready for anything performs a scene from  Flashdance during an audition, having at her disposal only one bottle of mineral water, while annoying music from the sitcom Seinfeld can be heard in the background. IndieWire called it "one of the craziest TV series you'll ever see."
