Yes, he did it again - Michael Myers is back! Forty years after the premiere of John Carpenter's original slasher we finally have another Halloween. This time, a group of journalists visits Myers, who is confined in isolation, to show him a mask (yes, that one) hoping to trigger a bloody response. Nothing happens for the moment, but the consequences of the visit echo far wide in the surrounding small towns in terms of bodycount. The Halloween franchise remains one of the most terrifying and best-known horrors of all time, mainly because its pits worthy opponents against each other. However, there is also something new - American film festival darling, director David Gordon Green, gives the series some much needed fresh air. As in any good horror flick, more happens outside the frame than on-screen.
