Promising Young Woman

A brilliant mix of thriller, dark comedy and revenge cinema that could serve as a showcase of the #metoo movement. Emerald Fennell multiplies the questions, offers false leads and juggles twists and turns with a dexterity that makes it impossible to believe we’re watching a directorial debut. Moreover, the director reveals an impressive sensitivity to detail.
