The Integrity of Joseph Chambers
Integrity… tells the story of Joe, who decides to go hunting. He has no skills or proper equipment, and so his initial enthusiasm quickly gives way to distraction and anxiety. Joe will never forget this day. Another splendid movie by Robert Machoian (The Killing of Two Lovers), starring Clayne Crawford, premiered at the Tribeca Festival.
In “The Integrity of Joseph Chambers,” Clayne Crawford plays a middle-class insurance salesman who wakes up, shaves his mustache into something from the Chuck Norris/Burt Reynolds catalog of masculinity, kisses his wife Tess (Jordana Brewster) goodbye and sets out for an early morning hunting expedition. Say what you will about the Second Amendment, but Joseph Chambers has no business bearing arms, and this trip seems like a recipe for trouble.
Robert Machoian
Robert Machoian was born in King City, California. He is a director, screenwriter and photographer who has been making films for over a decade, with over 20 shorts to his credit. The Killing of Two Lovers premiered at Sundance and then in Europe at the American Film Festival. God Bless the Child was awarded, among others, at CPH:DOX while the director was nominated for the „Someone to Watch” Independent Spirit Award. Michoan's short film The Minors won the Special Jury Prize at Sundance.
