Make Up, dir. Claire Oakley

Festival Saturday. Films Best Watched in Bed

Festival Friday. Screenings, Discussions and the Competition Festival Sunday. Films from the Cinematic Fringes in Lost Lost Lost section

Are you still in bed? Perfect. Are you up already? Then go back to bed wand watch the Third Eye section films today.

This year, Third Eye features movies about sleeping beauties. Behind the first line of active women stands, or, actually lies, a second line - the eternally sleeping beauties. They are the section’s anti-heroes, which doesn’t mean that they don’t have an unexpected revolutionary force within them!

Discussions, talks and meetings (also available without getting out of bed)

A real festival cannot do without Q&As with filmmakers. Today, we invite you to the second meeting of the Film Discussion Club, to talk about American independent cinema's return to genre films. Kaja Klimek - a journalist and film critic, and Błażej Hrapkowicz - also a journalist and film critic, will take part in the discussion. We start at 6:00 PM on Filmawka’s Facebook profile.

We also encourage you to watch conversations with directors whose films feature in this year's festival program. Watch 21 different videos, including conversations with Alexandre Rockwell, Filip Jan Rymsza, Janis Rafa, Kris Ray and Ágnes Kocsis. All are available free of charge - just log in or create your account on the website at

The music scene

No festival club so no music? We solved this problem too. A special concert of Jóhann Jóhannsson's music performed by Bartek Wąsik is available for your listening pleasure on our platform. The concert accompanies the Polish premiere of the film First and Last Men directed by Jóhannsson.
