The tenth edition of the US in Progress co-production forum just started and will be held online until 13th November 2020, as part of the 11th edition of the American Film Festival in Wrocław. This year, the festival will run online from November 5-15 together with the 20th New Horizons International Film Festival. The event’s goal is to facilitate networking between European and Polish film professionals and American independent filmmakers.

Tom Grater, Deadline’s International Film reporter, will host two discussion panels during the US in Progress event.
One panel will feature experienced Polish producer, Ewa Puszczyńska (Cold War, Ida), Dylan Leiner (Sony Pictures Classics), Maren Olson and Kat Moncrief (CAA), as well as Derek Kigongo (Paradigm Talent Agency). It will focus on the challenges facing transatlantic collaboration.
The other panel will be a case study discussing the PR campaign behind Jan Komasa’s Academy Award nominated Corpus Christi. Panelists include: Hilda Somarriba (PrismMedia), Anna Kot (Aurum Film) and Ewa Bojanowska (New Europe Film Sales).
