AFF and CINEMAFORUM open submission for the American Shorts joined section U.S. in Progress goes to Tribeca

We are proud to announce two projects participating in 2022 edition of US in Progress program, LaRoy and Mountains, will premiere in New York in June at the Tribeca Film Festival.

LaRoy directed by Shane Atkinson and produced by Caddy Vanasirikul, Sébastien Aubert and Jérémie Guiraud [pictured] is a thriller/comedy with John Magaro, Steve Zahn, Dylan Baker. The movie tells a story of a man who is mistaken for a hired killer and in spite of other plans, decides to become one.

At US in Progress (part of the 13th edition of the American Film Festival in Wroclaw) LaRoy received $50,000 awarded by the director of the Polish Film Institute for post-production in Poland and was color-corrected in Fixafilm, a long-term partner of US in Progress as well as received some final touches in DI Factory.

Mountains, a debut feature by Monica Sorelle, produced by Robert Colom, and edited by another US in Progress alumni Jonathan Cuartas, is a family and social drama set in Miami, which will be presented in the US Narrative Competition of Tribeca IFF.

Congratulations!
