Exploring “all states of cinema” is not just a marketing gimmick. This year, the American Film Festival pushes beyond the boundaries of conventional film and creates an opportunity for you to immerse yourself in the cinematic experience and in U.S. history itself. From November 6 to 11, we invite you to the VR Experience, where we will present JFK Memento.
This immersive project offers an intimate view of one of the pivotal events of modern American history: the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Tickets are now available for purchase.
The Emmy-nominated work presents the final moments before the assassination of John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963, from various perspectives. Through this unique project, you can listen to testimonies from witnesses and participants, as well as explore different theories surrounding the event.
Produced in collaboration with the Sixth Floor Museum and Meta, this experience expands (literally) our Politics on Screen film program, allowing you to immerse yourself in the tumultuous atmosphere of Dallas during that pivotal time.
