US in Progress program revealed

The best players in the area. TAURON Breakthrough and American Docs Cinema and AI: Screenings and Discussion within US in Progress Open

The fifteenth edition of the US in Progress co-production forum will be held from the 4th till 8th of November 2025, as a part of the sixteenth edition of the TAURON American Film Festival in Wrocław. This year’s one of a kind edition will be held in Warsaw and Wroclaw and both cities will serve as a networking hub for American, Polish, and European industry professionals.

In Warsaw, the selected US works in progress project holders will attend networking lunches and dinners connecting them with the Polish Film Institute, top Polish partner post-production companies (Orka and Platige Image) and Polish producers selected by the Polish Producers Alliance and hosted by Gigant Films and New Europe Film Sales. Mazovia Warsaw Film Commission will take participants on a city tour of Warsaw and shed light on the city’s rich culture and history.  

This dynamic edition will then take participants on a scenic train ride to Wroclaw, where participants will have more networking opportunities in one on one meetings with European film professionals from top festivals and sales agencies. Adam Mickiewicz Institute will host a networking lunch. Dinners will be held in both old and new architectural gems of Wroclaw—the historic Town Hall and Concordia Design building. A Wroclaw city tour will be led by the DCF – Lower Silesian Film Centre. Participants will be able to attend the screening of Jan Komasa’s Anniversary, a great example of transatlantic collaboration as well as Polish premiere of Pete Ohs’ Erupcja—a unique Polish-American collaboration and US in Progress alumn. Filmmaker Pete Ohs and stars Jeremy O’Harris and Lena Góra will be in attendance.

The TAURON American Film Festival program will include a robust number of Polish premieres of US in Progress alumni titles from the 2024 and 2025 editions namely:
