Putting a lot of effort into building a new life in New York City, Tony still feels connected to his former one, which seems more and more distant. Masseuse Didi shares his sense of uncertainty and impermanence. This, a debut feature for the Chinese-American director, is a moving story of alienation and longing that won the Jury Prize at Cannes Critics' Week.
