Silent Disco: AFF’s 15th Birthday Party

The American Film Festival is celebrating its 15th birthday. To mark the occasion, we're transforming the New Horizons Cinema into a three-floor club where you can enjoy the best American (and beyond) music and dance until the wee hours of the night (that is, until 3:00 am).

How it works

On November 8 (Friday) at 11:00 pm, check in on the first floor of the New Horizons Cinema at the entrance from Kazimierza Wielkiego Street. On the spot, present your ID along with a pass, accreditation, or ticket from any film in the 15th AFF program. You will also need to pay a 20 PLN fee for headphone rental (cash only). Once you’re set up, you can pick up your wireless headphones and start dancing across all three levels of the cinema. Plus, a cinema bar will be available to keep your palate satisfied during the Silent Disco!

ground floor: god.wifi

A multidisciplinary artist with a focus on sound and image, god.wifi draws inspiration from the technology she grew up with, resulting in a blend of futuristic melancholy in her music and visuals. Currently, she is delving deeper into her inspirations, creating a conceptual album that fuses contemporary and progressive sounds, combining elements of rap, hyper-pop, cloud rap, and electronic music.

level I: DJ Polly

As a rising star in the Wroclaw music scene, DJ Polly will take you on a journey through musical decades. Her sets are a real feast for fans of nostalgic rhythms that will awaken the party animal within you, reminiscent of school dances. Oldschool is her middle name, and hip hop is her godfather.
