David Hinton

David Hinton is a British documentary filmmaker who spent many years working for ITV’s The South Bank Show, where he made episodes on Michael Powell and Bernardo Bertolucci's The Last Emperor (for which he won a BAFTA TV award). Hinton has also created experimental films, recorded dance-theater performances for television (winning an Emmy for Two by Dove in the Great Performances series), and conducts workshops on dance in film.
