Chris Smith
Chris Smith is an American documentary filmmaker born in 1970. He studied at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and first gained prominence with American Movie, a Sundance-award-winning documentary about the tragicomic journey of amateur filmmaker Mark Borchardt. Smith's diverse body of work includes acclaimed projects like Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond and Sr., as well as the award-winning series 100 Foot Wave. He was also an executive producer on the record-breaking Tiger King.
