Using the photo book aesthetic, filmmakers Rodrigo Ojeda-Beck and Robert Machoian explore prairie towns in Nebraska meditating on the longing for permanence, on the blurred lines between still photography and cinema and asking the question: do miracles really happen?
Director, screenwriter, producer. Creator of short and experimental films, shown, among others at Sundance FF, in Locarno, Nashville and Turin, and at the CPH: Dox festival. Last Days of August is another project he worked on with Robert Machoian.

Robert Machoian was born in King City, California. He is a director, screenwriter and photographer who has been making films for over a decade, with over 20 shorts to his credit. The Killing of Two Lovers premiered at Sundance and then in Europe at the American Film Festival. God Bless the Child was awarded, among others, at CPH:DOX while the director was nominated for the „Someone to Watch” Independent Spirit Award. Michoan's short film The Minors won the Special Jury Prize at Sundance.
