Jesse Short Bull

Jesse Short Bull is a member of Oglala Lakota tribe in South Dakota. In 2009, he founded the Native Youth Leadership Alliance, an organization that supports young Native Americans in college. He was co-writer and co-producer on the short film Istinma, awarded, among others, at the American Indian Film Festival.

Laura Tomaselli

Laura Tomaselli is an editor and director from New York who has worked on feature films and documentaries as well as advertising projects. She received a Cinema Eye Award nomination for editing and writing Sam Pollard's documentary FBI vs. Martin Luther King. Lakota Nation vs. United States is her feature-length directorial debut.
