An original coming-of-age comedy about the passage of time, loneliness, and femininity. Twenty-eight-year-old Louise and nearly 60-year-old Antonina (Małgorzata Zajączkowska) both feel trapped in aching bodies and especially in the social roles imposed on them by their respective ages.

Lisa Steen
Lisa Steen is an American producer, screenwriter, and film director. Late Boomers, her feature-length debut, premiered at the SXSW film festival in 2023 and is her fourth film based on a screenplay by Anna Greenfield. Previously, they worked together on the short films Games for Girls (2018), Sundowners (2019) – shown at Sundance, and Stepdaddy (2019) – awarded at the Seattle Film Festival.
