Wes Anderson

Wes Anderson was born in 1969 in Houston and studied philosophy. He has been making films since childhood but received early acclaim for his short film Bottle Rocket, which served as the basis for his full-length debut of the same title. Due to subsequent films Rushmore and The Royal Tenenbaums, Anderson is often recognized as one of the most original young American directors. Now, after a nearly thirty-year career, he's entered the pantheon of world cinema.
