Alessandra Lacorazza is a queer screenwriter, director, and editor based in Brooklyn. Her work explores themes of ethnic identity, cultural memory, and gender identity. She became the first Latin American woman of Colombian descent to win the Director's Award at the Sundance Film Festival, with her debut, In the Summers (2024), which also won the festival’s Grand Jury Prize.
