Is it possible to make a rebellious, expressive comedy and nostalgic road movie (all in one) about the COVID-19 pandemic? The authors of Stop and Go, a hit at this year’s South by Southwest festival, prove it is. At the same time, they don't lose sight of what is the most difficult in pandemic reality: loneliness and helplessness, fear for loved ones and unwanted life changes. All these experiences are shared by two sisters we meet in February 2020, when they have crazy and beautiful ideas for the months to follow. When we see them again, reality has already verified their plans. The women also receive a letter from the nursing home where their beloved grandmother lives. When it turns out that some of the residents have contracted the coronavirus, they decide to go there and bring her home. The long journey is an opportunity for talks, settling accounts, strange adventures and cementing sisterly bonds. At the same time, it proves to be an accelerated lesson in maturing and rediscovering yourself.

Audience award nominated film. Please pick up a voting card on entering the screening and tear in a place marking your opinion and throw it into an assigned box after the screening (cards and boxes will be available at the theaters). The filmmakers have a chance of winning $10,000.
