You have another week to send your feature film to the American Film Festival in Wroclaw, Poland. The submission form will be available till July 15 HERE. There is no fee to submit. If selected, your movie (documentary or narrative of minimum 60 minutes rt produced in US) may win a $10,000 or $5,000 Audience Award during the AFF in November in Wroclaw.
For the 7th consecutive year, the American Film Festival has been selected as one of the 50 Festivals Worth the Entry Fee by the Moviemaker Magazine. In 2020 the festival will be running from November 5-15 in connection with the 20th New Horizons International Film Festival.
On July 16, US in Progress program will open free submissions for American narrative projects in rough cut stage. The call will be open till September 6. There is no fee to apply. Selected projects will be presented to European sales agents and Polish postproduction companies offering finishing in-kind services at the event in November. US in Progress alumni are: Knives and Skin by Jennifer Reeder, Pahokee directed by Ivete Lucas and Patrick Bresnan, Lingua Franca by Isabel Sandoval or Sweet Thing by Alexandre Rockwell to name just a few.
