TAURON Group becomes the title partner of the 16th American Film Festival
All states of cinema will arrive this year with even greater energy: TAURON Group has joined the American Film Festival as its title partner. We are therefore proud to invite you to the 16th TAURON American Film Festival, which will take place from November 6 to 11. This important partnership will strengthen the event and further support our mission—to explore both the familiar and the unknown in North America through the most compelling cinema from the United States.
The TAURON Group, a leader in Poland’s energy industry, already powers one of the New Horizons Association’s flagship events—the TAURON Young Horizons International Film Festival (whose online edition continues until October 26). The collaboration with AFF builds on this successful partnership and continues TAURON’s mission to support valuable cultural initiatives across Poland. Through its presence at film festivals, TAURON also promotes pro-environmental awareness and contributes to shaping greater social responsibility for the world around us.

For over a decade, the TAURON American Film Festival has shown that there is always more to discover in North America. Each edition features the finest new works of American independent cinema, top-tier Hollywood productions, documentaries that reveal more about US reality than any news outlet, premieres straight from major international festivals, standout genre films, legendary classics, and masterpieces by renowned auteurs.
This year, audiences will also have a chance to explore the work of Susan Seidelman, an acclaimed director who will attend the festival in person, alongside dozens of other American filmmakers and industry guests.
The 16th TAURON American Film Festival will take place from November 6 to 11, 2025, at the New Horizons Cinema in Wrocław. The full program will be announced on October 21, with ticket and online access sales starting October 23 at noon.
